 The Plantation Dining Room

In Louisiana, eating is a sport and superlative food is standard. The Plantation Dining Room, under the expert direction of Gary Fonseca, our Executive Chef, features fine Louisiana cuisine with a menu that specializes in steaks. New summer menus available for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner & Dessert.

Catering is also available for events of virtually any size, from banquets for several hundred to intimate dinners served in your villa suite, in one of our private Pavilion rooms, or in your own home.

Restaurant is open Sunday-Thursday 8:00 am - 8:00 pm and Friday-Saturday 8:00 am - 10:00 pm.

Abita Beer Company invites you to experience the 2009 Abita Beer Dinner Series at Carter Plantation.  The Brewmasters and our Executive Chef will offer six courses paired with Abita Beer for the ultimate dining experience.

        The Dog Days of Summer                    

Join us for our best event of the year.  The Dog Days of Summer at Carter Plantation features an open bar with wine and bourbon samplings paired with Louisiana cuisine with a twist.  Dance to Swamp Pop and Zydeco band Choupique. Featured Artist Henry Neubig.  Don't missing sitting in Roy Robinson's chair where you will be amazed at his caricature created by renowned cartoonist and watercolorist. Dress is resort casual and a good time is guaranteed by all!
